Silk-to-wool ratios can be tailored to suit both the space and budget, with 50/50 and 90/10 blends being the most popular. Although dyed in the same colour, the differing reflections of silk and wool create a subtle stippled effect, particularly pronounced in the 90/10 mix. This ratio provides additional stability to the silk structure, while the 50/50 blend offers durability for areas with slightly higher foot traffic, supporting the silk with the renowned strength of New Zealand wool.
