Dobson is a clever wool alternative to traditional flat-woven sisal rugs, crafted from 100% New Zealand singles wool for durability, resilience, and the natural benefits of wool.

The design adapts classic woven characteristics to Eden Studio’s tufting technique: horizontal base loop rows are over-tufted with vertical loops, creating a textured, hand-crafted appearance. Natural tones evoke understated elegance, while contrasting colours in the base and over-tuft can produce a more dramatic effect. An optional cut-pile border adds definition, with width and colour customisable to suit rug size and complement surrounding furnishings.

Dobson features a low-pile finish, making it ideal for dining rooms, hallways, and living areas. The loop pile is finished at 10 mm, with the optional cut-pile border at 12 mm, combining practicality with a refined, tactile finish.
