Sheffield

The Sheffield style was created in response to a desire for a soft, vintage-inspired finish. Crafted from New Zealand wool singles, its combination of loop and raised cut pile echoes the Canterbury landscape surrounding Eden Studio, reminiscent of summer fields where pasture softens and thins in the sun.

Produced in two stages, a loop-pile base is first tufted, then over-tufted vertically in cut pile to create an uneven, broken grid effect. In a single colour, the natural variation between loop and cut delivers subtle texture; contrasting colours introduce greater depth and character.

Well suited to living areas, Sheffield offers a relaxed yet refined foundation for layered interiors, bringing warmth and quiet texture without the weight of a heavy shag.
